A Little Divine Intervention Couldn’t Hurt
Writing books was always my dream. From the minute I picked up my first pen, I knew that was what I was supposed to do with my life!
It lets me go to my writing place every day at 7 a.m. and there I live with the big issues like love and life, to say nothing of war, famine, pestilence and death. Talk about a good time! It’s a world I can build to my own specifications and a rare privilege to be doing what I’ve always wanted to do.
Life Doesn’t Go in a Straight Line
As many of you know, a series of family events caused me to have to suspend publishing books for several years, so when I started to write again, I began to worry that I might not have enough time and strength to get all the stories that are milling around in there, out of my head.
But then I received a heartening note from a loyal fan last week in which she said that she and all the sisters in her convent were praying for God to strengthen my writing arm.
With Divine assistance like that, what’s to worry?!
